The Snowy owl mainly eats small mammals but mainly lemmings and voles. The height of a Snowy owl can be between 53 and 65 cm, it has a wingspan of between 125 and 150 cm. The Snowy owl lives in the Arctic Circle, North America, Europe and Asia. Snowy Owls can live at least 9½ years in the wild and 35 years in captivity. The Snowy owl is predominantly white, but has spotted dots. They also have yellow eyes. The Snowy owls are the heaviest owl with a weight of 2KG.

I like the Snowy owl because of how elegant this big fluffy owl is. I also love how cute and slightly weird-looking the chicks are.
